WHO WE ARE

Youth With A Vision (YWAV) Foundation, Inc. was founded in 2011 as an independent non-profit organization whose function was to provide educational and financial assistance to the indigent and underprivileged young students primarily from Jesus Is Alive Community Churches. The Foundation was started by Emmanuel C. Fernandez, an entrepreneur and philanthropist, as the corporate social responsibility arm of We Lead Group of Companies.

Outside of his work, the Founder serves the Lord as a leader at Jesus Is Alive Community, and as a member of the Board of Trustees of Jesus Is Alive Community and New Jerusalem School. He is currently the Service Division Head of Jesus Is Alive Community Headquarters, covering over 250 churches throughout the world. Moreover, he is also the Founder of Youth With A Vision (YWAV), a ministry for the youth in Jesus Is Alive Community Churches, and served as its International Youth Director from 1991 to 2013.

Determined to contribute more to nation-building and involve more people for a broader impact, the Founder started the Foundation and named it after the YWAV church Ministry. Carrying the same heart and purpose, Youth With A Vision (YWAV) Foundation, Inc. supports indigent and underprivileged students from Jesus Is Alive Community churches, but has since broadened its reach by providing support for education programs for young people nationwide.

The Foundation supports projects that are in line with the We Lead Group of Companies and their philanthropic initiatives. Over the past years, the Foundation has been committed to its mission of helping alleviate lives of vulnerable young people and their families through education and livelihood, and transforming lives for the glory of God.

To see the lives of vulnerable youth improve by having the freedom to choose their own path; To see sustainable communities with families and livelihoods grow and preserved; To see a progressive Philippines where the youth are not only contributing, but are taking the lead in nation-building.

We seek to honor God by helping underprivileged youth have continuous access to quality education, and by alleviating the lives of vulnerable youth and their families through education and livelihood opportunities, thereby transforming lives for the glory of God.
